Dominican rapper Vakero's "Se Partio El Lapiz" will be heard in an upcoming episode of "CSI: Miami." The featured song is from his 2007 album "Pa Ke Te Mate," on Jeremy Records.

Also, an unreleased track from Vakero, "En El Barrio Ya No Hay Gente," has been placed in the independent feature film "Sin Nombre," which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. The film's executive producers include Mexican movie stars Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal.

Vakero (aka Manuel Varet) is signed to Jeremy Records and is represented for publishing, administration, digital distribution and marketing in the United States by New York-based Sunflower Entertainment.
